Such as those for the Sheffield General Cemetery Trust. Created three subject specific boards on leisure, art and architecture and social history. Funded by http://www.naturalengland.org.uk/ Also a series of interpretation boards in and around the Leeds and Liverpool canal basin at Wigan Pier.
I am working as a Shipshape health champion on a series of inspiring and entertaining local heritage trails in Sharrow. This is intended to tap into the great health benefits of getting out and about in the local environment.
Working with staff from the River Stewardship Company in partnership with young people aged 8-13 years and their families to design and deliver environmental and historical interpretation activities. These included allotment archaeology, mountain bike trails, wood working, wild camping, night hikes, wild swimming and hut building.
Research, interpretation of C20th cultural, social and domestic life and fitting out of museum cases for 1920’s, 1960’s and 1980’s at Opie’s Museum of Memories, Wigan. Also research, sourcing of 2D and 3D materials, and fitting out of local history cases for Beck Isle Museum, Pickering as part of the Sharing Museums Skills Millennium Awards.
